Fat Dissolving Injections

Here at SPA we use the drug AQUALYX™ for our fat dissolving treatments.

AQUALYX™ is a biocompatible and biodegradable injectable developed to dissolve fat cells in various areas of the body. The gel based, aqueous solution works to break down, dissolve and eliminate localised pockets of stubborn fat. AQUALYX™ works by liquefying the fat cells, destroying them permanently to allow the lips to be expelled through the body lymphatic system.

AQUALYX™ is suitable for patients with stubborn pockets of fat whome are close to their ideal body weight but struggle with isolated areas of fat. Aqualyx is a body contouring method rather than a weight loss tool. Therefore it is unsuitable for clients who are clinically overweight.

The fat pockets are unlikely to return and will be permanently dissolved, providing patients maintains a healthy lifestyle post treatment.
